Here is a story that fits the picture. It was suggested by ~doomy-panda The story was written by her dad.

"Her Friend © 2001

Through desperate eyes she looked into the skies, her hopes and dreams shattered. Her mind like a jigsaw, hands like a leaf, face motionless like a stone. The past that happened only moments ago, was to real to be imagined,
Yet here she stands a product of all that has been done. If she was a year or two older, maybe she would understand, or perhaps a year or two younger, impenetrable to the pain that had succumbed to her. But she had been the wrong age for what she had endured.
Standing alone and broken on the beach, like the shells that scatter around, with colored lights on her back, reflection from where it all began. You could still hear their whispers and feel the piercing stares, as the ocean winds chilled the uncovered naked skin. Hands still shaking, breath deep and hard, ocean caressing her feet as if it was trying to comfort her from what has been done.
She turned slowly, first to the stars, and then to the overwhelming sounds behind her, tears fall like waterfalls as they meshed together with the sympathetic sea. She felt, as though she couldn’t go back, things would never be the same. Time does not roll back for any condition either good or bad. She would have to try and survive the undeniable pain, anguish and heartache that have been cast upon her like the fury of the earth. But to find the understanding to it all would be, incomprehensible to a girl of this age.
Her hopeless eyes turned back to the sky, as if to say that she was sorry. Her chest pounding, body shaking, tears like she had never endured. One foot moved, then the other, towards her only friend the sea. She felt the pain no more, her mind drifting like the wind. The more she walked the calmer the ocean got as to welcoming her like the old friends that she thought she had. No more pain, no more hurt, as the sea and her became one friend together…
